Belinda Wilson
Belinda Wilson first began her career in radio programming which later lead her to the A & R Department at ABC Dunhill Records.
While there, as ABC Dunhill Records transitioned to MCA Records, Wilson quickly segued into promotions and artist development. She worked with national artists such as Steely Dan, The Dramatics, Isaac Hayes, Jimmy Buffet, Rufus featuring Chaka Khan, B.B. King, The Pointer Sisters & The Crusaders.
Belinda’s reputation then lead her to managing well known acts like The Emotions, Betty Wright with “Clean Up Woman”, Richard Dimples Fields, The Legendary Bob Marley, girl group 9.9 with there world wide hit “All Of Me For All Of You”, West Coast rapper YoYo whose critically praised debut delivered the single “You Cant Play with My Yo-Yo”, Lady Soul with the soundtrack “If My Sisters In Trouble” from the #1 hit movie “Sister Act”, the First Black Super Model Beverly Johnson and Leleti Khumalo the star of Sarafina, just to name a few…
As she formed her own company, Belinda promoted, marketed, managed, and signed publishing deals for artists at a host of major labels such as; Arista, Atlantic, Elektra, J Records, Jive, MCA, Motown, Warner Bros., etc… Belinda has kept the established hit-makers sound alive by maintaining their radio friendly status to impressionable audiences for Avant, Monica, Busta Rhymes, Shaggy, Patti Labelle, Whitney Houston, Anthony Hamilton, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson, Jazmine Sullivan, Timberland, Jamie Foxx, Charles Wright, Lenny Williams, Teddy Pendegrass, Sha Sha Jones, and so on…
